Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information

Here is how you can ensure a smooth and safe arrival and dismissal for all of our students and families at Susan Lindgren Elementary.

Schedule 🗓️

7:25 AM – Students may enter the foyer
7:30 AM – Doors open and breakfast is served
7:45 AM – Classes begin - Students considered tardy if not in class by this time

We appreciate your efforts to help your child arrive on time and ready to learn! There are three ways for students to arrive and depart from school: by bus, Family Drop-off line, or by walking/biking.

Bus Riders 🚍

Students who ride the bus will be dropped off and picked up at Door 4, located on the back side of the building. Our staff members will be there each morning to welcome your child with a smile and help them safely start their day.

Family Drop-Off and Pick-Up 🚙

If you plan to drop your child off or pick them up, please use our Family Pick Up and Drop off lane located on 41st street, moving West to East, on the front side of the building (Doors 1 & 2). Morning Student DROP-OFF begins at 7:25 a.m. Afternoon Student PICK-UP begins at 2:15 p.m.

To expedite the process safely:

  • Please display the yellow tag with students name on the passenger side of your front dashboard.
  • For everyone's safety, drivers should remain in their vehicles during drop-off and pick-up.
  • Pull as far forward as possible
  • Prepare your child ready to enter/exit on the passenger side to exit the vehicle independently.
  • Staff members will be present to assist students and keep the line moving.

Walkers/ Bikers🚶🏾‍♀️

Students that walk, bike or scooter to school should also enter through the front of the building (Doors 1 & 2). Bikes and Scooters can be locked up on the bike rack near the garden or along the fences during the school day.
