- Student Conduct & Expectations
School assemblies provide us a way to come together as a community to honor and value all our students and community members, and learn from each other. We expect assemblies to be respectful and honoring of all voices in our community.

Students are REQUIRED to have a pass when in the hallway, during class time, unless traveling with their class or a staff member. Students are expected to remain in class as much as possible.

All elementary schools in St. Louis Park have agreed to continue the “No Birthday Treats” Policy. Learn more about the reasons behind this practice.

Students and staff are not to open the secure doors for anyone. Anyone in the building without a name tag will be escorted to the office. For emergency purposes, all staff members have a key to lock any building door from the inside.

All persons other than students and staff must sign in and receive a visitors badge from the main office when you arrive at the building.
All Community Volunteers are asked to complete the volunteer application and placement process with the Volunteer Program.

If you see or become aware of bullying, it is the staff member’s responsibility to intervene and report it on this reporting form.

St. Louis Park Elementary Schools expects responsible use of personal electronic devices if they are brought to school. This means that upon entering the school building (from 7:28 am – 2:15 pm) all personal electronic devices may only be used for family emergency situations.

Building relationships and sharing information with our families is vital to us achieving our mission. At a minimum, classroom teacher communication to every family will occur once every two weeks. Email addresses will be blind carbon copy (BCC) to respect privacy. Grade level teams will determine how they will share important information with families.
