I have been reflecting on my incredible career in education, and after 32 years in the field, I have made the decision to retire. It has been an honor and privilege to serve in this district and as your principal at Susan Lindgren Elementary School.
I believe in the district and all that it has to offer, and my family chose to have our two children attend St. Louis Park Public Schools. My children are SLP graduates in the class of 2020 and 2024.
It has been a joy to watch my children grow through this community, and I have enjoyed being a part of your children’s growth as well. Each student has left a unique mark on my heart, and I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me to guide their educational journey.
The Susan Lindgren community is truly special, and the dedication of our teachers, the enthusiasm of our students, and the unwavering support of our families have made this school a place of warmth, innovation, and excellence. Together, we have created an environment where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
As I prepare to embark on this new chapter of my life, I carry with me countless memories of laughter, learning, and love. I am confident that Susan Lindgren will continue to thrive under new leadership, and I am excited to see the continued success of our students and school community.
Thank you for the wonderful years and for allowing me to be a part of you and your family's journey. I will always cherish my time at Susan Lindgren and hold each of you in my heart.
